Terms of Service

Last updated: March 20, 2026

PingGuard (pingguard.io) is operated by Regnum Global. These terms govern your use of the PingGuard service. By creating an account or using PingGuard, you agree to these terms.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using PingGuard, you agree to be bound by these terms of service and our privacy policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. If you are using PingGuard on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

2. The Service

PingGuard provides uptime monitoring for web endpoints. This includes automated health checks at configurable intervals, alert notifications via email, webhook, and Slack, incident detection and tracking, response time monitoring, and public status pages. We continuously improve the service and may add, modify, or remove features over time.

3. Accounts

You need an account to use PingGuard. When creating an account, you must provide accurate information. One account per person or organization — do not create multiple free accounts to circumvent plan limits.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact us immediately at support@pingguard.io. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use PingGuard responsibly. Specifically, you must not:

  • Use PingGuard to perform denial-of-service attacks or load testing against any endpoint
  • Monitor URLs you do not own or do not have explicit permission to monitor
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, plan limits, or any technical restrictions
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service
  • Use the service to probe for vulnerabilities or security weaknesses in third-party systems
  • Submit malicious, fraudulent, or abusive URLs for monitoring
  • Resell, redistribute, or white-label PingGuard without written permission

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without notice depending on severity.

5. Plans and Billing

PingGuard offers Free, Dev, and Pro subscription tiers. Each plan has defined limits on the number of monitors, check intervals, team members, and features. Full plan details are available on our pricing page.

Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

We do not offer refunds for partial months. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

Additional endpoint add-ons are available for plans that need more monitors beyond their tier limit. These are billed as part of your monthly subscription.

6. Uptime and Reliability

We aim for 99.9% platform uptime for the PingGuard service itself. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Monitoring is inherently dependent on network conditions, third-party infrastructure, and the availability of the endpoints you monitor.

We are not liable for missed alerts, delayed notifications, false positives, or false negatives. PingGuard should be used as one layer of your overall monitoring and reliability strategy, not as the sole mechanism.

7. Data and Privacy

Your use of PingGuard is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

You retain ownership of your data. We do not claim any intellectual property rights over the URLs you monitor, your check results, or your account information. We access your data only as necessary to provide and improve the service.

8. Status Pages

PingGuard allows you to create public status pages that display the real-time status of your monitored endpoints. You are responsible for the content displayed on your status pages, including monitor names and descriptions visible to the public.

If you use a custom domain for your status page, you must own or have authorization to use that domain. We reserve the right to remove status pages that display misleading, offensive, or fraudulent content.

9. Intellectual Property

PingGuard, including its design, code, features, and branding, is owned by Regnum Global. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the service without written permission. You retain full ownership of your data, configurations, and any content you create within the platform.

10. Termination

You can cancel your account at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your data will be permanently deleted. We send a confirmation email when account deletion is complete.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in abusive behavior, or use the service in a way that negatively impacts other users. In cases of severe violation, termination may be immediate and without prior notice.

11. Limitation of Liability

PingGuard is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Regnum Global and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, data, business, or profits, arising from your use of PingGuard. Our total liability for any claim related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms as PingGuard evolves. When we make significant changes, we will notify registered users via email. Continued use of PingGuard after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with any changes, you may cancel your account.
